I've recently been thnnkiig a lot about our conception of truth, and how different it is than most of history's concept. In our internet age, our truth is facts, accuracy of dates, details that can be cited. However I think there's a different concept of truth that's much older, and can be just as (if not more) powerful this is the kind of truth that I find in The Robe: it is not a reporter's truth, but a storyteller's truth. It is truth is in the way that people's lives are changed, the impact that one man (one God) had on a region, then nations, then the world.Cheers! 0(Please enable JavaScript to vote.)Reply http://kxjnaacjp.com bnvqhq [link=http://uvdkfvflwy.com]uvdkfvflwy[/link]

I almost died radieng the first few chapters. They were just unbelievably awful. (For those who haven't read it, I'm not talking writing style or anything like that the content was just terrible to have to get through.) But after that I loved this book. When I read it, a lot of what I was encountering spiritually made sense with this book (namely, I was just beginning to explore what the trinity means to Christianity). Your last sentence really sums it up: The Shack is a quick read but will leave you with a lot to think about. Yups.Cheers! 0(Please enable JavaScript to vote.)Reply

And I am SO glad you love this book as much as I do! You made me want to re-read it (I'm about halfway thorguh now) and I had forgotten so much about what an incredible work it is. Thanks for bringing it back to the forefront of my bookshelf. Cheers! 0(Please enable JavaScript to vote.)Reply
