DG: I see that you graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a BFA in Musical Theatre and that you discovered her love for horror movies in college. What are some of your favorites?

ZH: I did graduate with my degree in Musical Theatre, though I am taking a few years off to pursue a film career with a focus on horror and dark movies. I love them. My favorites generally are the spooky, and creepy psychological movies like : Kubricks, "The Shining", the original Poltergeist and Cujo. I love Stephen King, and really enjoyed his Nightmares and Dreamscapes that were just on television. As for newer movies, I loved Hills Have Eyes, and my friend Wendy's Film 2001 Maniacs, there were some great old-fashioned deaths.

DG:Was Tony Urban's "Klownz" your first film role? Tell us about your role and how the shooting was.

ZH: Klownz wasn't the first film I worked on..I had worked on some indies in NY, including Restaurant with Adrien Brody, and Dinner Rush as well as some others, but it was my first supporting lead in a horror film. It was so exciting to die for the first time, I think I scared everyone on set with my first scream! The shoot was really fun, a great cast of actors, some whom I have worked with since. We really got along great, and had a blast. Hopefully, someday the film will get distribution and see the light of day!

DG:I worked with Jeff Dylan Graham on a couple of projects and he was a nice, funny guy. Tell us about working with him on A Pound of Flesh.

ZH: Jeff was such a pleasure to work with , and a total sweetheart. He played my boyfriend, Denny and we had such fun, especially in a scene where we are hanging out and getting high. Another great ensemble cast, and Jeff really added to it! He was such a sweetie to my lil puppy who I brought with me, as she had never been left alone. Now she is 3! Where did the time go?

DG: A while back you worked with Pamela Sutch on a cool-sounding project, "Project Gamma Ray." Who did you play and what is the movie about?

ZH: Project Gamma Ray is a Sci-Fi film that was commissioned by a private viewer from Siren Tales and Pamela. She was really fun to work with..and with the buget we had, made the film look great! I played a scientist working on a modern time machine that can carry you to different places in the world. It was really fun. As it was a private film, I dont think it will ever be for sale..but I do have a copy.

DG: What there a lot of physical stuff involved in the movie? Pamela often likes to kick some butt in her flicks.

ZH: Yes she does, and she kicks butt well. Fortunately, It was a pretty low impact physical movie for us..as we shot out in the middle of the woods in NJ, in heels. There was some fighting with plants, but not with humans (for me, anyways).

DG: You worked with the Crazy Ralph crew again in "Psycho Cheerleaders." I suppose you play...a psycho cheerleader?

ZH: I play a bulimic, pyscho cheerleader named Angel..but I can't really talk about the project as we are in pre-production. I will come back and tell you all about it after we shoot this year!

DG: Tell us about The Shed? Who was that for? Who did you play? What's the movie about?

ZH: This was a short I shot with some film graduates in NY who want to start a production company that focuses on horror. The shoot was brief, but really fun and I got to work with Suzie Lorraine, who is a real sweetie. We shot out in NJ in a bedroom..and I think its going to look great. I hope we get to see it soon. I will know more later!

DG: You were featured in Witchcraft 13: Blood of the Chosen, which was shot in Texas, right? Who (or what!) did you play?

ZH: We did shoot Witchcraft 13 in Texas. Houston and San Antonio were the main sites for the shoot. I played one of the three trouble making witches, who plays with men's hearts, literally, I had such a blast with Mel House, the director and a fun cast. Also, the location in the Cave with No Name is going to look so amazing on film. This film should be out soon!

DG: How does it feel to be a part of a horror franchise like the Witchcraft series? Have you seen any of the others?

ZH: I have seen some of the earlier Witchcraft films and enjoyed them. I hear that the level of content varies from film to film, but am assured that this one is one of the best!! Of course it is,,I am in it! Just kidding.

DG: I read that you are shooting a romantic comedy called Together - a change of pace from all the blood and screaming, I guess? Tell us about it.

ZH: Yes, Together was shot in NYC, Central Park and uptown NY. We had a screening for Together in NY and now it is in the festival circuit. It was a light romantic comedy, in which I played the best friend of the lead, and have a great comic phone scene. Im not sure where you can get a hold of the film yet. Details to follow.

DG: Anything else you'd like to add? What can you fans look forward to in the near future from you?

ZH: I will have a bunch of other films coming out this year. Kottentail, starring Bridget Marquadt (please check Sp?) of The Girls Next Door and one of Hef's girls, will be out from Brain Damage on Oct 3. I am so excited to see it. Also , I played the sexy hostess of The Vampire Diaries from Midnite Films, and that should be out soon as well. Abbattoir, from Mike Watt and Amy Lynn Best just premiered at Genghis Con 2 , and will be finished soon. Also, I shot two great horror films this summer: "Phobia", from Rnd Entertainment and "Bachelor Party in the Bungalow of the Damned" from Mea Culpa Pictures. Look for them in the next year!

He said: "Nationwide offers high-quality protection, backed by face-to-face advice available nationally on the high street, at the same price as is available directly from the insurer. Seeking advice, particularly given the need for correct disclosure and completion of forms, is very important when it comes to ensuring customers gain the protection cover they require."
