“There is a DIRTY HARRY-type catch phrase in THE THIRD SOCIETY which kind of sums up my feelings on how much I believed in the film and the character of Jones. She is aiming a .45 at the audience, and she intones in her most lethal voice, ‘Any questions?’ Now, there was a man who was the stunt coordinator on the film, and he kept explaining to me how Jones should look, how she should act, and everything. He even advised me on what kind of gun she should be carrying. He suggested a .38 revolver, something that Jones could tuck into her garter belt. So I say to him, ‘Okay, I’ve got a .38 tucked into my garter belt. What else am I packing?’ He answered, ‘You’re a female police officer, you’re packing a .38. That’s all.’ I say, ‘No. I’m going to carry a .44 Magnum, like Dirty Harry. If I’m going to be a paranoid cop that the whole Chinese Mafia is after, and I have a speeding Buick coming toward me, I’m going to put something in my hand that’s going to crack the engine block, and/or blow through the door, and/or blow through the driver and into the guy in the seat behind him.’ ‘But,’ says this man, ‘you have to carry a .38 because it connects with the female audience. A .45 is not designed for a woman.’
I appreciated this guy’s advice, but I wanted another opinion. I went to a local rifle range and asked the manager there what a female police officer would carry. He too told me a .38. I insisted on trying a .45. I went out to the range, and with one hand shot six bull’s-eyes (with the .45). As I handed the gun back to him, I said, ‘My character will be carrying a .45. Any questions?’
“We just now finished up the post-production work on THE THIRD SOCIETY. I’m already at work on my next picture. It’s a female action film called VERTEX, and I’ve written the script, I’m going to be directing it again, and producing it. It’s a film that has all females as the leads, with the exception of one male, and it’s a cross between HIGHLANDER and BLOODSPORT. The basic premise is, these women are modern-day amazons, and my character, Jax, has to fight her sister Beth in a fight to the death for supremacy over this secret, hidden cult, and the sister doesn’t want to fight, so the battle then becomes, how does Jax make Beth fight? The whole prospect of killing your own sibling is a frightening thought. It explores a little bit more into the characters than THE THIRD SOCIETY does.

Love the cover for 'Nobody's Perfect'---very sexy and possessive! :) I can well imngiae what his fingers are doing.... *ahem*Love the cover for Double Time too, so very sexy! Need to read Rock Hard first, but cannot wait! :) The last cover...eh, I don't really care for it. Not my thing, but hey, don't judge a book purely by it's cover. Maybe I'd still pick it up someday. :DEnjoy!TBQ

Yes! Now if I just keep going as though I *did* go out with Number Two, I won't ipeurrtnt the flow of this project. I can redo it later if I want. But I'm not even offering a reschedule to the bird brain. NOBODY cancels on ME.

If the cancelation was not your fault and there is no rueehsdcle in sight, I'd go ahead and count it. If you feel bad about it later, you can always do 101 dates. Guess that means you are looking out for #3 now. http://hluvhlak.com zhmgxejdi [link=http://hviuhxris.com]hviuhxris[/link]

Hi Angus. I have been following your blog since the last time I saw you guys in Perth. I agree with ehnyrtvieg you have written. I have slipped discs in my lower back and when things are bad the only people I have been able to count on have been my Mum and Dad who are 82 and 80, my oldest son Mike who is nearly 20 and my husband. I have heard so many times from friends and other family members If you need help, just ask' and when you do ask they are always too busy or can't be bothered. Keep your chin up mate and don't let anyone get you down. I hope you are on the mend and that the pain is easing. Take care of yourself AnnieVA:F [1.9.11_1134]please wait...VA:F [1.9.11_1134](from 0 votes)

Beautiful card Norma! Your Dp is so pretty and I love how you cut some of the fwroels out and used it on the inside as a stopper for your easel card. I need to get this Tilda! Your punched border is a very nice touch to the layout. Hugs, Cami http://qwockq.com fablexttx [link=http://jkrwatu.com]jkrwatu[/link]
