Debbie D is a name well-known to fans of WAVE videos and frequent attendees to some of the East Coast conventions. She has an amazing number of tapes under her belt and continues with a strong and ever-growing fan base.

DG: Did you grow up in the Philadelphia area?

Debbie D: I was born and raised in Philly!

DG: How did you first get involved in the shot-on-video movie scene?

Debbie D: I first got involved with "B" movie making when a company by the name of Falcon video saw my photos in a glamour magazine. They needed womed for their films and they found me and put me on the map.

DG: You've managed to do tons of movies over the last several years. What's your secret to staying so busy?

Debbie D: I love doing these movie projects and have worked for several companys and still wish to work with more. It's the love of acting and the fans that keep me going.

DG: How do you keep your figure?

Debbie D: I work out for health energy and to keep trim. Being Italian I suppose doesn't help. Hee Hee

DG: Do you have any projects that stand out as favorites?

Debbie D: I love," Tales 'til the end" and "The Ghosts of Angela Webb" but there are many!!!

DG: You've managed to build up a fan base around the world - what is the coolest or strangest gift a fan ever gave to you?

Debbie D: I have received many interesting and unique gifts from fans all over the world. I can't seem to remember one that stood out the most but ask me again at another time.

DG: A few years ago you sang on a cruise ship. How did that come about?

Debbie D: In the spring and some of the summer of 2003 I had the opportunity to be the lead "fill in" female singer for the Disney cruise lines main show band. I sent in my tapes/videos and photo's and landed the job when I was recommended by a fellow musician.

DG: How was the experience?

Debbie D: I had a fun time singing for all ages, all kinds of music in many costumes and wigs. I also learned the service/military life living on the ship for almost three months and came home with certificates. So I received more from this experience then I originally thought of this gig which also included some friends that will now be lifelong I'm sure. It is a tough life living at sea but it did have many advantages like being on a different island and country on an almost daily basis.

DG: Would you do it again?

Debbie D: Yes, I would do it again. These experiences stay with you for life and I do have to admit I needed the discipline having been my own boss for so many years now with being a "B" celebrity. It was nice to be on the other end for a change. I adapted quickly.

DG: What projects do you have coming up that fans will want to be on the lookout for?

Debbie D: I have done two movies back to back. Be on the look out 'cause they'll be a lot of advertising for these.

DG: Do you want to talk about their titles, plots, characters, etc.?

Debbie D: One of the movies is called,"Requiem for a Vampire" and the other is a trilogy from the past-both are still being filmed. So I don't want to give away too much but my scenes will be memorable ones for sure. Keep a look out!

DG: Anything else you'd like to add?

Debbie D: Stay in contact with me through my website at: www.DebbieD.com - Always glad to see you there!
